Gallimimus
The third of six dinosaurs for the McWane Science Center’s “Alabama Dinosaurs” exhibit, I was excited to work on this model as it was the flocking gallimimus herd that convinced Spielberg to use CG dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. While mine is still far from the quality ILM achieved in the film and in its sequels, I’m very happy with how this turned out.
Like the Deinonychus from this same group, this model was adapted, though more radically, from my original Velociraptor.
