Appalachiosaurus
The centerpiece of the McWane Science Center’s “Alabama Dinosaurs” exhibit, the Appalachiosaurus is a fascinating relative of Tyrannosaurus rex. I had the pleasure of getting feedback on my model from the museum’s staff.
All the images in this series have the dinosaurs with effectively no background because they were ultimately going to be used in print material for the exhibit, and the museum’s graphic designer needed to be able pop them out of context without any trouble. The originals are 4000x4000.
